Section 11101(b) of the IRA amended section 1833(a)(1) of the Act by adding a new subparagraph (EE), which requires that if the payment amount under section 1847A(i)(3)(A)(ii)(I) of the Act or, in the case of a selected drug described under section 1192(c) of the Act, the payment amount described in section 1847A(b)(1)(B) of the Act, for that drug exceeds the inflation-adjusted payment amount for a Part B rebatable drug, the Part B payment amount would, subject to the Part B deductible and sequestration, equal the difference between such payment amount and the inflation-adjusted coinsurance amount
